Jobs[]
In this installment the work system returns as in previous titles of the saga. The following is a list of all the jobs in The Legend of Final Fantasy.
Warrior[]
The Warrior, also known as the Fighter, is the hardiest job available at the beginning to the Warriors of Light It has access to the best weapons and armor available, as well as impressive Strength, Stamina, and HP stats. The Warrior's main drawback is its dependence on powerful equipment, making it an expensive job to maintain.
- Cover: Takes physical attack damage for any allies in HP critical status.
Monk[]
The Monk is a skilled martial artist class that specializes in fisticuffs over weapons and magic. The Monk gets damage bonuses for fighting barehanded, and also a defense bonus based on Stamina. Barehanded damage surpasses claws and, with enough Stamina, equipment (except for status/elemental protection) is also unneeded.
Can use: N/A
- Kick: Deals physical damage to all targets.
Thief[]
The Thief is among the weakest of the light armor-wearing jobs, possessing low Strength and Stamina, which in turn means low HP. The Thief is the only job capable of equipping the powerful Thief's Gloves accessory, which doubles the poor success rate of Steal from 40% to 80%, making them vital for stealing items early on, including one-of-a-kind pieces of equipment only obtainable through stealing.
- Steal: Steals an item from an enemy.
Black Mage[]
The Black Mage is the first fully offensive spellcasting job in the game (barring Blue Mage as they start with nothing), and is the first job to utilize elements in their attacks. As they can equip rods, the Black Mage is further capable of increasing their damage output of specific elements by 50%.
- Black Magic: Grants the ability to cast Black Magic.
PD: The Black Mage can only use Black Magic up to Lv6.
